Established in Leicester since 1974, FGS Ingredients Limited is a family-owned business, now well into its third generation of leadership. We have grown to be principal suppliers of natural ingredients, and pride ourselves in our service, quality and our wealth of knowledge, allowing us to cater for all of our clients’ needs.
We have a mission to be one of the leading companies in the food ingredients sector, and our staff members live up to this promise by constantly updating their knowledge through daily contact with major spice growers and suppliers areas. As a result, we are always aware of current market conditions and ready to supply our customers with crucial information at any time.

Our speciality in spices, culinary herbs, seeds and seasonings is the main force behind our reputable customer portfolio, which includes food manufacturing firms, trading/wholesale firms, foodservice/retail firms. We supply over 350 types of ingredients, including Spice Blends and Herbs, and we pride ourselves in working closely with customers to also create specific blends.
Our purchasing and quality control departments have built up a worldwide network of farmers who have an extensive knowledge of the spice industry. The farmers are selected based on criteria which are important for our quality control department and are audited every year. For each product we have at least two farmers supplying us, in order to maintain the product flow and price competitiveness.
